He's literally not back.

He has a website he doesn't manage.

Meanwhile an illegitimate president sits in the white house and our country decays more and more by the day.

Hate to be debbie downer but this shit just doesn't excite me at all.

Same. It's run by the GOP PAC that ran his mailing list. Same credentials and all. It's not really him.

When it was time to use his power to stop the steal - Insurrection Act - Trump folded. Then the left essentially used the insurrection act against Trump - tried him for insurrection, surrounded DC with the military.

MAGA1775 48 points ago +54 / -6

Yep, I was shocked at how quickly Trump folded, because I always thought he would never back down.

Granted, Pence stabbed him in the back and Republicans were threatening to impeach him, and he would lose his lifelong Secret Service protection.

But still, I wish he was the George Washington type hero that would have said "fuck it, I'm saving America" and crossed the Rubicon to save freedom and the Republic.

Even Washington didn't have backstabbers in every corner like Trump did. I truly think that Trump didn't have enough support within the government and higher ranks of the military to make a big move. Caesar wouldn't have been able to cross the Rubicon without an army behind him.

VinCarver 18 points ago +18 / -0

Trump never had support of the insiders or upper ranks of the military. He got as far as he did because he had the support of the American people. If he was so inclined he could have had an Army of armed and trained citizens around him easily. Our movement has never been about needing the support of the leadership already in place. It’s been about standing up to the current leadership and proving we don’t need them.

I’m a combat vet, and I know a lot of combat vets that were just waiting for him to say the word. All he had to do was tell the Nation that the die has been cast and there would have been no hesitation.

Maybe not as many backstabbers, but he definitely had backstabbers like Benedict Arnold and General Charles Lee. But yeah, pretty much every part of government was against Trump, including the military who was threatening to disobey orders if he tried to use the Insurrection Act or call on them in regards to the election steal.

That could have maybe been mitigated if he purged all of those Obama appointees in the brass earlier. But he was in a tough place, so I can understand why he didn't. I still wish he did though, because surrendering the country over to tyrants and people who hate the Republic and all of us, is going to lead to some very dark times. If he did try and cross the Rubicon, it would likely have had to involve him deputizing his own army of patriots, and it would have been messy. But fighting for freedom is always messy, as history has indicated.

Read about General Charles Lee (and others). He had his share.

But Caesar built that support. That is also a skill.

theblackprince 18 points ago +19 / -1

George was in his 40s, Julius 51, Genghis 40s, Napoleon late 30s, etc. They were all battlefield generals of great renown and experience. Asking an old man who has never commanded troops with 0 allies in govt to "cross the Rubicon" was never a possibility, even if his finger is on the nation's pulse.

MAGA1775 11 points ago +12 / -1

Deep down I knew it wasn't going to happen. Just saying that I still wish it went a different way though.

Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

Trumps 70s are a normies 50s but with wisdom. If you're uber smart your 70s are when everything starts coming together ie Trumps NOT "an old man". He's also been a leader all his life. Finally, he very likely has a better military background training than most generals and definitely is faaar more brilliant than any of them are. Bio: Five years at elite, old school, military academy. Graduated with rank of Captain. Bannon, A West Point grad a military history buff confirmed, Trumps a huuuuge military history fanatic too. TRumps also arguably the greatest practioneer of The Art of War alive. Something he applies to business and politics. Bottom line, Trump s too smart to have fallen for Cult Deaths bait by kicking off a civil war like they wanted him too. Hopefully supporters disappointed by Trumps decision not to be Custer 2.0 will learn to be appreciate Trumps prescient courage and ego discipline.

Rome wasn't build overnight.

Neither was the US.

George Washington was appointed on June 16, 1775. Cornwallis formally surrendered on October 19, 1781.

In that time span, George Washington lost battles, but never gave up.

Trump never gives up either.

Elvathelion 10 points ago +10 / -0

Well, I've not been personally thrilled with how things went down if you want my honest opinion.

4
Prophet11Speaks 4 points ago +4 / -0

No one is “thrilled” luv. No one.

1
Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're not supposed to be thrilled. Texans werent thrilled by the Alamo tragedy either. The key question that determines how things turn out is how you respond to a heart breaking, gut wrenching loss. That tells you who you are. In the end, that is what determines how things turn out in the biggest scheme of things. #MAGAHeart

i know ill sound like a geotus dick sucker, but if he did, he wouldve been found guilty of impeachment had he done that. this had to happen this way sadly.

at least this way, we have an avenue for him to win again in the future (or someone like him)

MAGA1775 5 points ago +5 / -0

It can be viewed the other way too. Biden's DHS just announced they are welcoming 1,000,000 illegal alien families into the USA this year alone. Even if we can somehow secure the elections, in 4 years there's going to be so many new Democrat voters from over the border that it's going to be nearly impossible to win a fair election.

NerBolanski 1 point ago +2 / -1

voting???

1
Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

BINGO. Perhaps be less apologetic about "getting it"? However, kudos for being wary of clap back and speaking the truth anyway. Hopefully people are starting to recover from their shock and pain. As they do, they can realize the Democrats had a pyrrhic victory IF enough Americans reclaim their spirit and take advantage of the gift God gave us and warrior on to Save America from Cult Death. Exciting times.

Insurrection act is not allowed since December

but they used on his supporters

Didn't happen

1
conservativefrank 1 point ago +2 / -1

Yes,it essentially happened. They didn't use the formal act, but what are the teeth of the act? The teeth are using the military and arresting insurrectionists.

The leftists arrested people for supposed insurrection, and the leftists used the military.

2
SpookySpook 2 points ago +2 / -0

It didn't happen and you feel it did?

Low energy

btw it was not leftists since Trump was in command

Knowing when to fold is key to winning. The games not over, by a long shot, because Trump was smart enough to fold rather than lose everything, including the destruction of us. Those who view his decision negatively right now will hopefully have enough time to grow up enough to appreciate what he did and how wise he was. Perhaps research General MacArthurs decision during WW11to cede the Philippines to the Japanese. What happened because MacArthur "folded"? He too was a very, smart man rather than an ego driven General like Custer who didn't have the courage to " fold". Every one of Custers men was slaughtered because Custer was too proud to fold, regroup and fight on. He wasted countless brave lives. For nothing his vanity Why would you want Trump to emulate Custer rather than MacArthur? Perhaps think more deeply and strategically about this? Trump obviously has. God bless him.

1
conservativefrank 1 point ago +1 / -0

We'll see if it was Custer or not. Right now, we'll have to suffer through a 3 trillion dollar tax increase, massive inflation, loss of rights and more.

If Trump had used the Insurrection Act, he would have remained in the WH.

Not every fight is hopeless.

1
conservativefrank 1 point ago +1 / -0

Read this carefully. A wiser person, me, will teach you something.

Your analogy is backwards. What Trump did is what Custer did - showed up with not enough force. Had Trump shown up with enough force - the Insurrection ACT, charges and the military - he would have stopped the steal.

This movement will become stunted if it continues hitching the wagon to the wrong horse. He achieved much but its time for others to take the lead.

41
yurimodin 41 points ago +42 / -1

we need to unhitch from the GOP......biggest boat anchor for the MAGA movement.

1
Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

"We"? Wrong pronoun. Speak for yourself. Use the singular pronoun " I". Fyi the GOP is open to ALL registered Republicans willing to get off their asses, go to meetings and put in the work to keep things running all the time rather than just at election time. Everyone who shows up gets to vote on decisions, actions, volunteer leaders and the help find and vet candidates. If you're choosing not to accept the open invitation to be involved why would you sideline snark about those who volunteer to be involved? Puzzlng. Perhaps now is the time to do your part rather then expecting others to do your jobs for you? But font now, when? Https://theprecinctproject.wordpress.com/

yurimodin 2 points ago +2 / -0

Whatever. Kemp, Douchey, Ronna. Cruz, Rand, McConnell, Pence, Kav, Amy Cunty Barrett ALL fucked GEOTUS and us. When the fucking chairwoman has a knife in GEOTUS' back. Oh yeah we gonna vote 'em out next time hurr hurr. There is only one thing these treasonous fucks are going to understand. The fucking GOP does not deserve to exist anymore if they can't be bothered to fight the most blatant steal in human history of the incumbent with the most votes in US history.

I've yet to see anyone even close to President Trump--and DeSantis nearly got cheated out of HIS seat by Little Mr OD.

DeSantis is great in FL.

He doesn't have anything like the skills and experience of Trump.

No one has.

So maybe just avoid proclamations until we have a viable sub. So far we do not.

0
NerBolanski 0 points ago +1 / -1

We need someone who has half of Trump's skills and Experience and has twice the boldness of Trump. Trump isn't bold enough when It comes to domestic issues.

1
Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fortunately your imaginary Trump is not real Trump. Not even close. Perhaps more research? Real Trump is far more facinating than any fictional character ever created.

3
BloodyWolf 3 points ago +3 / -0

He achieved much?

He showed the Outsider persona could win, that is true. The Ross Perot strategy worked.

But I'm not sure he knew what to do once there. A pity, too. Still, the mythos might inspire people. I just hope they don't emulate too much, the bad parts.

1
Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

Your "I'm not sure" is an invitation to research more so you are sure, if being sure matters to you so much. Personally, I invite you to focus more profoundly.. The reality is that he is one of two choices you have. The other is whoever Cult Death picks to represent their agenda. You get to help pick which time line the world gets. Trumps MAGA time line or Cult Deaths. The most momentous fork in the road decision ever. Lord of the Rings in real life. Gandalf or Sauranon. Perhaps, considering the stakes involved for humanity, focus on what YOU can do each day to help save us all? Even Hobbits choices matter. Alot.

1
BloodyWolf 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree that, considering the binary choice, he is the best one. But perhaps his fan base should put pressure on him to improve, rather than adore him. This is really a type of war we are in. And I am currently doing what I can to gain what power I can through pursuing a lucrative career. Unlike Trump, I can't secure a loan of a million or so, so I need to do everything myself. Out of curiosity, what are you doing?

3
panthicc 3 points ago +5 / -2

This. The fact that Newsmax said it's his site doesn't mean jack shit. They get info wrong all the time just like everyone else in media. How did they verify it was his? Anonymous sources close to the president? I'm not convinced of anything related to Trump (least of all anything said by the media) until I hear from Trump's own mouth.

1
daveywavey86 1 point ago +2 / -1

this.

1
Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

Great question. Answer: Trumps long time official site, secure.donaldjtrump. com, now links to his new site.

Not for me, maybe it did at one point. All the same, I'll wait for the official announcement from him.
