If I recall correctly, I think it was an advanced English class.

One of the main goals of Critical Race Theory advocates is that race should not be presented as a stand-alone topic. It must be integrated into every subject, including math and science.

This is why our kids are losing ground to other countries. History no longer focuses on the amazing fate that put our Founding Fathers in the same place and time. What matters is the slaves that each of them owned.

I think the history of slavery is important, but it can be taught without tearing down the great men, ideals and struggles our nation endured to become the greatest nation on the planet.

Thank you, think of all the years that our country tried to end discrimination, to stress that all were equal, that race was not an issue. Now Poof! Gone!

Looking back the programs that, I think with good intent, were put in place to advance blacks such as affirmative action, preference in schools, housing, etc., appear to have put many into a state of self pity and resentment. Characteristics that now are being reinforced with these race programs.

I do feel there is a darker intent behind these programs, specifically the labeling of whites as the cause of all woes. That same strategy has in the past led to pogroms, death camps, and the people who are running these anti white programs are well aware of this.

Remember the Georgia Guide Stones, from what I read, the decrease in US population they list is the same decrease you would get if you eliminated whites. Could be the plan?

I went to a public elementary school in Tidewater Virginia busing was implemented back in the 70's.

Even after busing, we still used the same Virginia History textbook. It started with Jamestown and went past the Civil War.

We learned about George Washington and Patrick Henry, and we also learned a great deal about slavery.

It was presented as the horrific practice it was, but the two were not in the same chapter.

These days, we have teachers whining on line that they have to pay for band-aids that match the color of their students because "oppression".

These are scary-crazy times.

I agree, I feel as if we are in a really badly written film, living through unending edits and some superlatively bad casting :(
