And this isn't new, either. I know someone who caught (Chinese) "prospective buyers" of a manufacturing plant secretly taking photos of proprietary equipment and processes, and this happened 35 years ago!

Huawei is founded from tech stolen from Canadian company Nortel. Chinese spy photographs proprietary info and bam, basically everything Huawei is should've been a Canadian cell phone but nope we fucked up with security and we let the Chinese basically steal that stuff.
