IMHO the cop handled it correctly, completely de-escalated the scene and made it possible for him to leave. Seems like some people want to see the cops openly execute people for wrong think. While id agree the cops are being soft on antifa, i don't wanna see them getting shot for what they are doing, they should be captured and tried for sedition. and from my understanding from news reports several antifa were arrested and charged in this incident.
That being said, everyone should carry and be ready to defend themselves and the innocent.

He didn’t get arrested. The cop just didn’t want him to smoke those Antifa. He was let go right after, with his gun, and went on his way.
