I'm from Germany and left the church, they area all far-left extremists anyway ;) . Now I'm a hobby-sociologist and therefore my "research topic" is to find out why people believe in things and found out that it is closely related to submitting to some form of rulership. Leftism is a new form of religion that means submitting to the rulership of the media, NGO's, universities (social sciences), Antifa, BLM, climate change and so on. The main flaw is that the beliefs are connected to things in the real world and therefore block factual politics and thereby destroy society. The good thing of the belief in God on the other hand is that God doesn't exist in reality (only in the belief itself) and therefore does not prevent factual politics ;)
