I remember when I was taught “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me”. It was a real thing that was used to disarm bullies back in the mid 90s. Anyone else remember that?
You know, I've heard a lot of people complain about "white fragility." But last I checked, there isn't a word that instantly causes white people to start acting like animals if they hear somebody of another race say it.
Someone called me a fragile white guy on blackpeopletwitter way back when I still visited Reddit.
I laughed and pointed this out while also pointing out that black people kill each other for mild disrespect or accidentally stepping on their shoes. And asking who was really fragile.
And that was the day I was banned from blackpeopletwitter.
I got banned there when i posted micheal b jordan with the bumps from black panther, and a magnifying glass zooming in making it seem like each bump is lego studs
If there were no differences between races then there would be only one race. Even if there was only one race, one language and one religion people would still fight over resources.
Having had this discussion with leftists recently, I can tell you that they no longer subscribe to "sticks and stones". They see words they disagree with as "violence" that demands a physically violent response. They feel morally justified in physically attacking someone for having the incorrect political views.
Then I'm going to take their position and turn it back on them, since I believe in equality.
If you condescend to me for being white, call the January 6th patriots "traitors", celebrate the deaths of patriots because "they're nazis", call me a nazi, gaslight me about the stolen election, etc etc,
then I'm just going to fly into a barbarian rage on you with no warning.

No, no, no. White fragility simply means you're racist. There's no way out of it, so admit it. Racist.
That's what fragility means, in this situation.

Almost as if there are differences between races.

Only way to stop a bully is to make them reconsider the risk/reward calculation.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but 10 mm saves my life.
Yes, that might cause a bully to reconsider.
That's what I did. He pushed the fat kid too far, and the fat kid kicked his ass when the teacher left the room.

I remember that too growing up in late 80s early 90s. Also remember this too.
