I was just on the phone with some of the grass roots organizers on the West Coast and I made a point about unified messaging. That should be coming soon.
The banner I want to see is a Populist American banner. The GOP is just a political vehicle; the movement is the people and has the power. Not branding the movement as a "right wing" one is key to welcoming former Dems and I's who now see what the Dems/Uniparty has become.
That's not my experience or expectation. There's plenty of Dems who have good morals and believe in limited government. They were just fooled into thinking the Democrat Party was in favor of that.
Once they wake up, you probably can't get them to instantly become Republicans, but you can get them to support Populist platform and vote against the Dems.
If getting rid of partisan politics and a bilateral party system doesn't happen, the cycle will repeat. The way forward is to go back to localization and we can use their voice in the court of public opinion, if not the ballot box.
If you care about optics, you've already lost. We should be able to unite around a fascist party. The names, brand, image don't matter. Playing that game is how you lose.
Except for the fact that I won't join a fascist party. I want to keep my Individual Liberty, not hand it over to somebody else.
And optics are everything in this fight. It's why the Dems and MSM keep spinning and lying, because the giant bunch of sheep have to be kept unaware of what's really happening. If they ever wake up and see what's really going on, we have the popular uprising that no regime can withstand.
It's an Information War, and has been for awhile. We're just late to the game, but making up ground. Having the truth on our side helps.
See, I disagree, you'll never win if you're trying to appease the sheep. Universal suffrage is a joke. We need to use superior strength and might to force submission out of our enemies. Liberty can be reasserted in society after we bleed the blood of tyrants.
Liberty and power is not something every man deserves but is something instead men earn. Giving liberty and power to sheep so that they can use that liberty and power to oppress the liberty of good men and elevate criminals in society is not a good thing at all.
We want the same end-game but I do not believe liberty and equal power for all is how you achieve it. I am perfectly fine with stripping the liberty and power away from my enemies even if they are 50% of the total population then only giving liberty and power to these who want to protect the values of the Republic.
I'm not appeasing anyone. I'm saying we tell the whole damn world they're welcome to join a movement provided they agree with some pretty fundamental American values like small government and such.
Liberty can be reasserted in society after we bleed the blood of tyrants.
The problem with this is that authoritarians never give up their power afterwards. Never. George Washington might be the exception.
You don't "give" Liberty. We are born with it. Governments take it away, which is why we have to be ever vigilant to keep the government from ever growing again.
I don't want anyone to have power, especially without enumerated checks on that power. A strongman many win a war, but history tells us to be careful what we wish for.
And I agree we want the same end-game, we just have different understandings of history and human behavior. I don't have the time right now to get any deeper into it than that.
Yes, I've been saying something similar.

Great work organizing, pede. If we had a thousand like you, we could move mountains.
Thanks, but we do have thousands. More every day. We need millions, though.
Welcoming former dems is just going to open yourself up to the exact same subversion that is happening now
