Except for the fact that I won't join a fascist party. I want to keep my Individual Liberty, not hand it over to somebody else.
And optics are everything in this fight. It's why the Dems and MSM keep spinning and lying, because the giant bunch of sheep have to be kept unaware of what's really happening. If they ever wake up and see what's really going on, we have the popular uprising that no regime can withstand.
It's an Information War, and has been for awhile. We're just late to the game, but making up ground. Having the truth on our side helps.
See, I disagree, you'll never win if you're trying to appease the sheep. Universal suffrage is a joke. We need to use superior strength and might to force submission out of our enemies. Liberty can be reasserted in society after we bleed the blood of tyrants.
Liberty and power is not something every man deserves but is something instead men earn. Giving liberty and power to sheep so that they can use that liberty and power to oppress the liberty of good men and elevate criminals in society is not a good thing at all.
We want the same end-game but I do not believe liberty and equal power for all is how you achieve it. I am perfectly fine with stripping the liberty and power away from my enemies even if they are 50% of the total population then only giving liberty and power to these who want to protect the values of the Republic.
I'm not appeasing anyone. I'm saying we tell the whole damn world they're welcome to join a movement provided they agree with some pretty fundamental American values like small government and such.
Liberty can be reasserted in society after we bleed the blood of tyrants.
The problem with this is that authoritarians never give up their power afterwards. Never. George Washington might be the exception.
You don't "give" Liberty. We are born with it. Governments take it away, which is why we have to be ever vigilant to keep the government from ever growing again.
I don't want anyone to have power, especially without enumerated checks on that power. A strongman many win a war, but history tells us to be careful what we wish for.
And I agree we want the same end-game, we just have different understandings of history and human behavior. I don't have the time right now to get any deeper into it than that.
Cicero? It has happened before and it can happen again. The issues I have with liberty focused people is that it is this very liberty that is being used against us. We give them liberty and they use it to take our liberty away. In theory, liberty is good but you but we don't have liberty now and asking for liberty is never how you get liberty. Furthermore giving liberty to criminals is not good. Liberty only works when you have a society full of moral men.
All I'm saying is we need to unify together, crush our enemies and then reassert our values. Yes, we may lose our liberty in doing so but we may also gain more liberty in the process. Almost anything worth doing in life has risk associated with it.
Universal suffrage democracy surely won't get us liberty because it is that very form of government that has taken it from us. And not just us. Look at any western democracy and you'll find universal suffrage democracy itself seems to be the root problem itself and incompatible with liberty.
Once it's gone, it doesn't come back just by asking nicely.
Who's asking? It starts by saying NO. That's louder when it comes from a Governor or Sheriff, but every individual who refuses illegal mandates makes it easier for the elected leaders to do so as well.
What happens after that is what I'm looking forward to.
All I'm saying is we need to unify together, crush our enemies and then reassert our values.
Yes, but there's more than one way to unify. Our enemy is the State, its corporate sponsors, and the committed true believers. That's a lot of political and financial power, but really not more than 10% of the population. Those three have different remedies.
We agree that a strongman solution can work to win the war, we disagree that it can then win the peace.
Just remember, the Federal Gov't only has the power it pretends to have because we fell asleep at the wheel and let it grow for a centruy+. It was created by the States and they can damn well take the power back. I'm working to encourage them to do so ASAP.
