What's the point of a dislike button if it doesn't show the dislikes? So they can secretly see how well their propaganda is working and adjust it accordingly. They've already long since did it with comments, but to do it with videos themselves is silly. Might as well not have a like or dislike button at all.....but oh wait ooops, that destroys their ability to push content and fake support for content.
Then they lose the transparency of being a platform rather than a publisher. Then they will have to answer as to why one content gets more views than others with zero feedback from the platform, and should be sued into oblivion for anti trust violations.
The fact that they are looking into changing a core aspect of what makes youtube function, shows just how much these sites aren't platforms, but rather a vehicle for political and foreign manipulation.
