It's so bizarre that here in the south Bay area of California I've had fewer issues going maskless outside than so many other pedes, even in red states. I have never worn a mask outside and to date, only 1 person has said anything to me. I've gotten plenty of strange looks and some dirty ones, but these people are such simpering cowards that they won't take a stand, even against a woman in her 50s. They avert their eyes from me, not the other way around.
East bay here, went on a walk along the bay shore without a mask, saw 3 others without masks. Not to racial profile too much, but, 1 was a black guy, young and ripped working out, 1 was a middle aged white guy running at a nice pace, and the last was a middle aged white woman who took off her mask as soon as she saw me. The vibe is spreading, even in the Bay Area!
