Could we have the feature where you get a notification if someone puts your username (formatted as u/_______) in a comment? It's really an important feature for communicating a reply to multiple people, especially multiple people who have already commented on a thread.
This should already be a thing. Is it not?
Not as far as I've been able to see. Haven't tried it very recently, but a while back this definitely wasn't happening. Sucks because when I see the same misinformation in several comments on the same thread, and I think it's important enough to need thorough correcting, I have to copy the same corrective reply to a bunch of different people on the thread. Would like to be able to just reply to one, and put the other usernames at the end of the comment, and have all of them see it in their inboxes.
It should give them a notification just like regular notifications. Maybe they’re not answering? I don’t know
