You act as if the democrats came in and demanded black people get on welfare and have kids out of wedlock, then commit crimes and get addicted to drugs. The single parent rate for blacks prior to the 60s was already over 33% while it was single digit for whites. The criminality and racial animus they had also still existed. Your rose-tinted view of black people carefully selected for the Dick Clark show is not a realistic representation. You grew up in an America that was 90% white. Again, blacks have gotten further from slavery, further from Jim crow, further from civil rights and they get worse and worse. Are you seriously suggesting that it makes sense for people to be offered endless handouts, preferential education programs, preferential hiring programs, and constant promotion and STILL largely fail? Why is it the same way in every other country, then? Did Johnson make blacks fail in the UK? In Germany? In Brazil? In Haiti? In Africa itself? Why is it that it only seems to be blacks affected by Lyndon Johnson, when the welfare policies applied to whites as well? No one forces them on welfare. No one forces them to commit crimes. All it takes to succeed as a black person in this country is to not go to jail , and to be mediocre in school. You will be given endless scholarships and job opportunities. Amd yet, 87% of them can't even do that.
I disagree. Even if we accept wholesale that it's 100% the fault of "democrats " and 0% fault of blacks, then why is it that these patterns persist in literally every country and area they are in? Brazil, Haiti, Argentina the UK, Belgium, Germany, Australia, even the small amount in Japan and China. Why is it the same in republican controlled areas as it is in democrat controlled areas? Why is it so disproportionate when all other races have also been subjects of "Democrat " policies for 60 years as well? There are rural Appalachian areas in west Virginia which are blue Nd have been blue for decades.
