The mentality is still that democrats are somehow magically forcing black people to be on welfare and commit crimes. The single parent rate for blacks was already about 1/3rd BEFORE the 60s. Why is it white kids raised by single.mothers are less likely to commit crimes than black kids? Why is it black students with parents that have incomes of 200k or more average lower test scores than white kids with 20k household's? Why is it the same in every country they're in?
Welfare doesn't destroy you unless you have a proclivity to be unproductive and a drain. There's no magical welfare fairy that keeps you on foodstamps. If the person is satisfied with that...then that's who they are. They're not being "tricked". And if they were being "fooled " somehow into willfully accepting welfare and committing crimes despite being able to succeed based on their skin color by being entirely mediocre as long as they stay out of jail; that implies a people with the mentality of toddlers. And if that's the case, needing handouts is their natural state and they need to have voting rights revoked and be looked at as wards of the state like people with mental disabilities.
Yeah, it all makes sense. I think they are responsible for their actions no doubt but I do think there is a welfare trap too. I would not by any means say Democrats are responsible for crime or the murder rate in the black community but I do believe generational welfare and poverty can have effects on people. And when you have a group of people like the Democrats that say they want to help minorities but then nothing but support the same bad policies that hinder them and ignore things like illiteracy which is about 50% of black adults in some major cities you can’t help but think the end goal is to keep them dumb and poor. I think it’s the end goal for most Americans and they will succeed if socialism takes over. But yes, the black community at the end of the day has to take responsibility for their groups actions and stop blaming others. Every person I think is responsible for their actions no matter what has happened to them. Even a four year old knows mostly right from wrong.
