Please stop denigrating Benedict Arnold by contrasting him with 30 Pence. Benedict was repeatedly betrayed and stabbed in the back by swamp creatures before he returned the favor. Benedict accomplished many great things and personally saved the entire revolution during the battle of Saratoga. While his betrayal at the end was villainous, he at least had reasons for it.
30 Pence was shown nothing but the utmost respect from our side while accomplishing nothing. The knife he placed in America's back was completely with out merit and a thousand times more damaging than Arnolds betrayal.
