Have you looked into it at all? They present themselves as some fraternal organization that does good stuff, then they introduce you to their hierarchy. They tell you more and more about what the organization really is and does and you gain rank, and you stop gaining rank if you're not on board. If you make it high enough, you find out it's a religion.

Like the Mormons. Or the Demonrats.

yeah sorry broski, im a mason. It's a poor persons university and place to get away from your wife. I'd imagine there are quite a few freaks that post all sorts of shite about it, you've likely come across one of their rabbit holes.

Even if what you read is true about the higher end, 99% are working men and low tradesmen that sign up to the creed which is summarised as "dont be a cunt and remember if you become rich you're just a man." The whole "they work together" thing is a simple obligation to help a member when they ask, its not meant to fuck people over who arent members, but to help members who have lost everything and are close to the nose. Like most young men experience.

Exactly what you’re told to believe their purpose is. There are books and docs from the 1930s explaining how the system works, you’re being lead blindly. Do you though man
