The funny thing is that it's a drop in the bucket for spending. What it's designed to do is siphon more from the middle class and smaller businesses. Amazon and bozos and gates won't be paying these rates. It'll be the guy with the contracting company that has revenues over 400k. The regional fabrication plants. The truckers. The tradesmen that are self employed. Again, revenues are not income...but they'll be taxed as such.

Meanwhile the billionaires get the write offs, they get the safe havens, they get the off-shoring. People like sanders wax poetic about the old days with the high wealth taxes...and yet you still had the ultra rich. Kind of funny how that works.
