We want immigrants to ASSIMILATE to OUR culture. We don't mind taking on some of them since that's the point of the melting pot. What we have a problem with is when they refuse to speak English, refuse to embrace our values, won't abide by our laws. We don't want them to bring the things that destroyed their country to the US.
