I can't imagine the mindset of someone who thinks they will be homeless if they get a flat tire. Like how disconnected from reality can you be. Even if you couldn't patch it, you can get a used tire for like 20 bucks. Also if you don't care about your credit, which most Young Americans don't, you can get treatment for your broken arm free, if you want to pay you can work out a payment plan with the local hospital for as much as ten bucks a month for the rest of your life. The hospitals are so desperate 4 any type of payment that they will agree to anything. The hospital system that I work for will reduce your payment by 100% if you make less than two times the poverty line, and 75% if you make less than four times the poverty line. And they will agree to any payment system that you are able to do. I have a friend who was in a car accident got taken to the hospital by ambulance CT scan, other medical treatment the total bill was like eight grand. He pays five bucks a month.

This is why I'm glad I grew up real poor and not "i have a tv, a cell phone, i smoke weed every day, i spend the vast majority of my time in leisure, i have tons of food in my fridge, i pay for the best internet possible, hulu, netflix, you tube tv, and amzon prime is totally worth it because I save more on shipping for all the pop figurines i buy than it cost to have a subscription, im gonna swing by starbucks on the way to the bernie rally, and lets go for fmdrinks after...poor"
