Some of you might be [understandably] concerned that gender-confused individuals were allowed before and after Trump left Office. I'm here to be the bear of bad news: they were coming in anyway even when the ban was up and going.

Let's just say I know a guy who got into the US military when Trump's term was going strong and after the ban. He once heard his recruiter say that he was working on getting such a gender-confused member into a branch of the US armed forces. It's normal for people to go through MEPS and not admit to things that might not get them in, such as past habits of doing drugs or certain mental illnesses (such as the one being concerned). Recruiters often do this because they need their numbers, and if they don't things can get very stressful for them. Try seeing it through their perspective.

Next, this guy I know was at a formation once while wearing an athletic-type of uniform, and on the female side of the formation, there was a "female" who appeared to have broad shoulders and a very homely face. Yes, this individual had tits, but there was something off about the tits. It's a possible chance that it was a very butch girl who had a boyish haircut for regs, but the guy I know feels that's a low chance.

So there you have it, it's not a bad thing that Biden rescinded such a ban, because it wasn't enforced very well anyway. Recruiters need their numbers.

Pragmatism is not a good argument. It's better to have good laws that don't work than bad laws that do.
