Spot on. Facts don’t matter. They repeat the lies, appealing to emotions, over and over, the lie no matter how ridiculous gains traction with enough people. Sound crazy? Consider: 1- A significant number of people still believe that Trump colluded or did “something” with the Russians. Completely debunked, complete fantasy. Pee tapes and all. Yet people still believe. 2- The Ukrainian “threat”. The conversation Trump had with Ukraine was completely legit. Yet, despite all physical evidence (transcripts) the fake story still persists. Facts have been distorted with fake stories from fake “sources”. See the Washington Post retract stories quietly six months later. 3- Trump calls Veterans “losers” and “suckers”. Despite all credible people denying the story the fake media once again used fake “sources”. Yet, to this day, despite the FACTS the story is held as true by a group of people.

We could go on and on.
