OP EDIT: Secession*. I proofread the body like 10 times, and apparently not once looked to check the title. Fuck.
I'm no geopolitical expert, but I am a Paradox armchair general. Succession would lead to an almost complete abandonment of all US land in the Pacific, with the notable exception of Alaska, which seems like it would be too cold and sparsely populated to support a base large enough to maintain the entire new Pacific Fleet required to keep China in check.
There is no future in which a Divided America can stand against Chinese hegemonic ambitions. As great as it sounds to be rid of the Communists, to let them die of attrition within the next 100 years, it is my belief that we would only be inviting expansion of the Chinese sphere of influence.
We must fight at every level to retake this country. We must continue breaking the media conditioning, and showing people how high the stakes really are. Voting may never matter again, but we can silently stack the odds in our favor as more people begin to realize the political theater being performed.
There are definitely those among you more knowledgeable on the finer points of how succession might play out, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. Long-term, it is my belief that so long as the CCP remains in power, succession would only lead to Chinese dominance.
The left can have all the area underground. Help them dig out their new homes.
