They don't deserve the reverence they get from the ppl the pomp and ceremony, opportunities, favours, deals as they don't respect the values or rules of conduct in the country, and to top it all off they get very wealthy.
All they really need to do is change the filibuster rules to be what they used to be. If you wanted to filibuster, you used to have to speak the whole time. Senators would put hoses in their pants running to a piss jar so they could stand there all day without taking a break and losing their spot. Now they just pretend to filibuster and everyone goes along with it.
Was that before or after Joe directly connected the filibuster to Jim Crow era politics?
