mother. However, I look for this to change eventually as some blue state (probably California) will have a judge who sees things differently. What sane person would think a seven-year-old knows what he/she wants? Plus, I can see some far left, crazy liberal judge ruling in favor of a child who wants to “divorce” his parents so he/she could make an asinine decision like this. (Remember years ago when a kid tried to divorce his parents?)

Here's expert's thoughts on the issue: a genetic aberration other than male or female usually has a child complaining of misgender issues beginning age 2 - 4, and persisting. So this isn't a case of them "not knowing what they want."

The ethical question is, how do you deal with it? AFAIK experts are all over the map on this, and ethics don't seem to play a role. Nothing much helps, as the suicide rate is 41% but that includes everybody. The drastic increase in people claiming this means we don't have data for most of the situations, so "experts" have nothing to go by and do whatever they want.

The genetic aberration probably hasn't changed, but we don't even know that. What's a Judge supposed to go by? Common sense? That has no standing ....

Well I respect your opinion but disagree that being transgender is genetic. It is spoken of so much, and young children pick up on everything. I absolutely believe it is power of suggestion. Of course, it also goes against my religious beliefs.
