I live in Canada and the government basically considers me a terrorist. There are no freedoms in Canada. You either do as the government wants you to or you're fucked. Rights only exist for people who comply with the State Party views.
Think of it like giving Christians rights but not Muslims except Canada's State religion is Leftism.
It’s real, but you can circumvent the hotel quarantine by going through the land border. And I think a few Canadians flying in have just refused the test, taken the $800 fine and left to go home, and they didn’t get stopped; supposedly these fines are supposed to get thrown out in court, but even if they aren’t, it’s cheaper than the non-refundable hotel stay.
