NC residents were collectively fucked sideways by the Duke coal ash situation which was handled piss poorly by PM to the point that "big energy" was not held to account. I'm not even remotely surprised that RC won his first term. I'm fuckin' floored that he won his second.

Conservatives had no motivation to back PMC because it was giant douche vs turf sandwich. It's like showing up to vote for Mitt Romney. I'd rather stay home and abstain on that type of a ticket.

Clearly RC didn't win his second, I suspect NC held out on the Presidential election to make sure the other states would prop up the illegitimate Biden win. At that point, they were happy to give the state to Trump and steal the seat for RC. Dan Forrest is an utterly flaccid candidate and the GOP was stupid to run him.

MAGA candidates can and will always win in this state. Dan, in spite of being a wet noodle, did win. I can't believe Trump and Mark Robinson took the state, the legislature stays red AF, and an absolutely terrible Cooper carried the state.
