From what I have understood, if your immune system produces antibodies from either a vaccine or having it yourself, in that case, it will not be transmitted. Of course, there are exceptions (vaccine don't always take and some people don't maintain antibodies for a long time) but that is few and far between and we have never cared about that before.
Because mRNA is actually a therapy and does not fall under the traditional definition of a vaccine. You can still get the virus, and because of this vaccine, your body will attack the virus so you don't get full blown symptoms. The goal is to prevent hospitalizations. And as you get better, you will shed the virus and right there is where the virus can escape (transmission).
