1. Get a dog for political optics to look like "regular Joe" 2. Use it as a campaign prop 3. Neglect it when the cameras aren't spinning. 4. Pass it off to staff for its care and maintenance because you really don't give a crap. Hell, I'd be pissed too. SIC 'EM MAJOR! (media.patriots.win)

This is one of those things like his livestreams where I just can't fathom how him or his campaign didn't manage to hire at least a bare minimum competent person to take care of this.

There are dog trainers. There are IT professionals. You can hire these people. They accept money.
