Chauvin did nothing wrong. We hired him to enforce the law, trained him. He did his job handling the daily firehose of street scum that none of us want to have to deal with ourselves. Fentanyl Floyd had a lethal dose of fentanyl in his blood, methamphetamines, and there was every reason to detain him for counterfeit currency. His behavior was erratic, evasive, resistant, and consistent with a junkie attempting to evade arrest. Chauvin should be back on the job.
