Single mother households too. I had a neighbor once who had 2 kids, one half black boy of about 7 and a white 3 year old girl, which was her dead brothers daughter she had taken in. The boy was a spoiled little shit that never got disciplined. I caught the boy doing stuff to her one day. He would stick his hand right down into her pants and finger her when he thought no one was looking. God knows what else he was doing to her, because she regularly left them alone together.
I told the mother and she didn't really react much to it, didn't seem all that concerned, more like a fake "Oh really?". Called child services and I don't know if they did anything. They moved soon after. I try not to think about it, but knowing how that boy was, I feel sorry for that girl and what she's probably had to endure before and since I saw that. Shit still bugs me to this day.
