This. The "orange" tint so often used on GEOTUS is deliberate, MSM networks manipulate the Hue/Lightness/Saturation or some similar control to hype up the quality/quantity of his skin-tone. (IE Hue is the color-value, Saturation is the amount of color.) I saw strange blue lighting on Schumer sometime over the last couple of years, that could be a typical technique to combat orange-ness (but don't quote me on that bit, I'm not a pro "news" video guy.)
I do know that MSM networks pay people very highly to handle the color-correction. I talked once with a guy who worked for ESPN, he made crazy money doing color-correction (as in making sure color/lighting looks consistent on day-games going into night-time, etc.) Considering the narcissism of career-politicians/celebrities, I'm sure the "news"/talk-shows are equally color-conscious because tantrums over their hair/wardrobe/makeup colors not looking accurate on TV.
