There needs to be a statute of limitations (say 20 years) to claim discrimination and oppression. Native Americans refuse to get over what happened hundreds of years ago. Black and Hispanic people refuse to get over what happened to them 100-150 years ago.

Not necessarily true. Sure, the broader American culture is Anglo based, but over the last century German along with Southern/Western European (including Spanish, Italian, etc.) culture have been heavily infused into the broader American culture.
