- Joined the school board. If your kid is going to school with a mask on, you wish I was your school board member. I squashed that shit at city council in July 2020. My kids and their peers never had a mask mandate and we endured endless attacked from a weaponized health department. Oh yea, and when the rest of the county decided last minute to delay in-person instruction in the Fall, I helped the board to keep our original start date and keep our promise to the parents for in-seat instruction so they could get back to work!
- Joined the stewardship Comittee of my church (know where the funds are going and why and propose ventures that help the community at large)
- Coached my kids soccer team. Bringing up young kids to show good sportsmanship, play by the rules and work up a sweat is just a good thing to give to the next generation.
- I don’t feel helpless. I know what I have done impacted my local community and encouraged conservative Ideals that benefit everyone.
DJT inspired me to give of myself, even when it was inconvenient, even when I didn’t get paid (member all the salary GEOTUS didn’t take?)

I can understand both sides of the argument. Yes, I think everybody needs to pull a Jordan Peterson and "clean up their room" and "find the heaviest thing that they can carry and pick it up."
That being said, even if you do everything right and improve your local community, you're still going to live as a tax slave and the government will take from you (by force if necessary) whatever it wants to pay for things you hate.
Beyond that, people here watched as the 2020 election was stolen in broad daylight and virtually every avenue we pursued was blocked by compromised or corrupt figures.
I agree that people should be doing everything they can locally. However, I think that we're ultimately headed for massive civil conflict, if not a war of genocidal proportions. The prerequisites for civil war are already in place. It's just a matter of time. I, for one, hope we fight back. I am aware of the cost of doing so and I am of the opinion that fighting, however bloody, is preferable to dying as a slave or without so much as a whimper of push back.

Correct order of operations IMO. Start with your family and community and let it grow naturally from there. Other people will see your school, and your church, and your kid's soccer team and think, "I wanna be a part of that." The whole idea of "let's fix it at the federal level and count on DJT to solve all our problems and it will trickle down to the states" is a pipe dream. Obviously we need federal reform, but that's not really our battle to fight. Our daily battle is our local communities and social circles. There are enough MAGA states to push back on the federal legislation coming through this fake administration that I don't see them doing much long-term damage. The higher potential risk (in my opinion) is the black pilling of conservatives to the point where they give up completely on elections/roll over and die.

I did the same. Volunteered to coach multiple sports teams. I run weekly fitness sessions for my kids and their friends. Volunteered to be a team leader at church. And accepted a promotion to manager at work to have more say in the work being dropped onto my colleagues.
