This is the Netflix Star Rating system all over again. Remember when they did away with that because "FUNNY WAMEN AMY SCHUMER" got fucking based the fuck out on a special with like a .5 or a 1 star rating right when it debuted? Even though Netflix pushed it and hailed it as the greatest fucking thing ever, it was just fucking horrrrrrrible. They got honest feedback on what they thought would be a slam dunk 4 or higher Star Rating with her special because it was geared towards a niche audience of women who like to brag about how big of a slut they are while stealing jokes from smarter and funnier male comedians. It didn't do good. So they immediately switched to the "Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down" rating system. Which still isn't that great for most of their shit. I've been too happy to go through and Thumbs Down every single "Netflix Original" movie, series, and standup special. They're all shit.

I'll admit, I sub to Netflix. It's my one thing I am not sure how how replace currently.

Though I am ending up buying Blu rays of older movies again. Its like we are coming full circle.

I've been keeping a list of movies and shows to buy. I'm hoping that soon I'll have a bonus check roll through and I'll be able to just clear the list in one mega shot. As it is, I'm getting pissed that soon it's going to be "Oh look! Now there's 8K ULTRA Mega Super HD Crystal Clear! Time to replace all my shitty quality Blu-Rays!"

This is why I've decided I need to just be happy with 1080p.

It's allowed me to finally get off a desktop and get a laptop, now that laptops are of the quality of desktops, at least running games at 1080p and 60 frames, I can save lots of space on my desk.

Same with movies, and hey when everyone else updates their BluRay collection then the used market will be flush and cheap.
