I definitely agree but we have to give credit where credit is due sometimes.
The Mandalorian, Rogue One, TCW Season 7 are all legitimately fantastic even though I still hate Disney. Even parts of Solo & Rebels were good. And dare I say it, certain parts of the Sequels were kinda cool (at least the visuals). I hate the vast majority of what they made though with the Sequels. SW Jedi Fallen Order video game is amazing. And the new Bad Batch series will almost certainly be incredible.
So yeah I really hate Disney too & wish things were a lot different but I still try to enjoy it.
Rogue One comes with the problem of creating a plot hole for the sake of fan service.
At the end of one movie you've got Darth Vader going first and cutting through people to retrieve the Death Star plans.
Come the start of the very next movie, chronologically happening right after, you've got Darth Vader letting his troops go first instead and only waltzing in once the ship is all but pacified, and it results in the plans getting away.
Plot Hole fix: If you know of Vader's true identity (Anakin), you know that he sometimes is brash and charges in forward, and likes to have fun on missions. After having something so important slip out of his hands the first time, he does a more tactical move the next time by having Stormtroopers head in first so that he can do the rest. He may overpower many rebels at once, but he is still only one guy.
Still love Star Wars. This shit that Disney is making isn't Star Wars.
