I used to read and hear people say, “There are fates worse than death.” Not to glorify or romanticize death, this absolutely true. Living in subjugated slavery, were the death is the only reprieve from the constant torture of existing in a hellscape, the term “Live free or die.” Comes clearer into picture. The problem comes in, where people don’t realize they are enslaved and have to concept of what freedom is or what it is supposed to look like, then their fears are tapped and their self preservation is used to control them. Getting people to wear masks en masse and the zealots behind them is a way of testing if that fear harvest is “ripe.”
