I don't disagree with you - but then again, I think ALL businesses should stay out of politics.
No company should be afforded tax breaks on account of their industry
No company should be given a subsidy
No company funds should be allowed to contribute politically (including PACs)
No company funds should be allowed to lobby
No politician should be allowed to own stocks.
Free Market means what it says, baby.
That means no farmers' subsidies, fuck BOTH Delta and MyPillow, and the market should be the market.
If you're gonna serve the public, you should do so out of an obligation to serve, not because you want to enrich yourself through legislative market manipulation.
We need to get the money and incentives out of politics.
