it won't be for everyone, it speaks to me - but it's not a spectacle or fast paced by normal standards - I think the story moves along quite well without being rushed or bogging down.

I don't want to presume what you will find relevant but some items:

  • a resistance to an authoritarian takeover of the nation
  • censorship of music, books and opinions
  • a youth movement similar to ANTIFA albeit modeled on brown-shirts
  • a concept involving a higher power that speaks/works with people of conscience
  • a quest to break people out of their passive acceptance of injustice

those are some of the major themes
