You know, I've never had homemade pizza anywhere near as good as the restaurant stuff. Probably because when I was a kid the low fat thing was big. I remember other adults claiming my mother's pizza was really good. I don't know whether the were being actively dishonest, or if they had just deluded themselves.

My family was aggressively Italian. We made good pizza, definitely wasn't low fat tho
