Floyd didn't have to die. 1. He could have not passed bogus money. 2. He could have gone back in the store and paid with real money as requested twice. 3. He was already loaded, but popped more pills sitting in the car, and then passed out. 4. After the police came he started eating more dope to "hide them" 5. He was handcuffed, and busted and might as well go get booked. 6. But then he went into his act screaming he couldn't breath even as he was taken from his car. 7. Screaming that he was claustrophobic about getting in the police car (when the police knew he was just in his own car) ! 8. Fighting and resisting four officer to get out of the car. 9. Struggling on the ground to where it took three officers to hold him down, and now a forth just to keep people back. At this point the police didn't want to deal with a crazy man, and called in medics. I have no doubt he panicked and knew he was dying because of ingesting all those drugs, and was even trying to spit some out in the police car. He was breathing and not lacking for air as he was able to scream, as officer told him to relax. This is the end Floyd was headed for for years based on his own behavior. Effectively he killed himself.
