While the details from the allegations are vague and I certainly will take them seriously, I am more likely to believe that Gaetz is innocent.

Why because Gaetz is going on the offensive. He recounting specific details about the extortion like the dates, the dollar amount and he even is calling on the FBI to release the recordings. My hunch is that if he were to lie, then that would be a lot of details to remember and the FBI could easily prove him a liar by coming out and saying they don't have any tape of Gaetzs father.

I have not seen any specific details of allegation besides there being a 17 year old girl.

I do reserve the right to change my opinion if details come out that prove he was lying.

In my history of profiling politicians only one man was able to successfully trick me. I hope Gaetz isnt number 2.
