From reading, a vast majority of coronaviruses (common cold) are similar enough to this one to grant at least partial immunity. They can also give a false positive.
Covid is a bad cold. That's it. That's why it ONLY kills people who are struggling to remain living. These same people would likely be killed by the flu as well (influenza actually kills young and healthy people, covid does not because it's a cold)
