George Floyd was an ASSHOLE. Dude was 1000% a scumbag, classic ghetto schemer type. He was trying to catch a beating from the cops so he could get paid.
I'm just shocked he made it as far as he did. In the end, he got exactly what he wanted, he just didn't survive for the aftermath.
I think he was spun on meth and was tripping out because he had kind of a lot of fent on him. It could produce amphetamine psychosis and meth is real nasty in forcing you to solely focus on one single thing. I'd imagine that one thing was "I don't want to go to jail today". So he swallowed most of his fent stash and resisted arrest like a motherfucker. He's all worked up and tripping out, speeding up his metabolism and absorbing all that fent.
That's why he literally says "I'm dead" before he goes on the ground. Then his breathing gets shallow. Then slow. Then he groans a bit. Then he passes out. About a minute later, he dies. The dude was an addict and a fent high feels VERY specific. You can feel it creep on you and overtake you (Yeah, I've been high on fent before. Shits fucking POWERFUL). He could feel it come on, realized he made a mistake that was going to kill him.
I don't think your explanation and mine are mutually exclusive. Lots of drug addicts are also ghetto schemers, in fact the two go hand in hand.
In his previous recorded interactions with cops, he behaved the same way. Argumentative, combative, wouldn't follow commands, etc. He was one of these guys who does everything he can to enrage a cop to the point that he throws a punch, so he can get paid.
Combine that with a drug overdose, and yep, here we are.
