Around my area you have to log on using your library card ID.
She should just load a USB with Tails Linux.

Inc rant feel free to ignore

They tap the ISPs and run exit nodes FYI. They also have international cooperation to do the same.

This isn’t so relevant in this instance just sharing that nothing is entirely secure over the internet. Your monitor, mouse, and keyboard even produce signal that can be intercepted and analyzed.

They can find people by any kind of signal, anywhere. The capabilities are truly scary. Iraq and Afghanistan didn’t even see the real advanced stuff...

The ability to analyze signal is limited by 3 things - Processing power, electrical power, capture. All of these are improving rapidly and becoming more mobile.

Technically, it is possible to know when a fly takes a shit by EM signal. It is possible to understand the composition of that shit by EM signal. One day this will be possible.. idk what fucking genius made Star Trek, but tricordors / remote scanners are closer to inevitable than merely plausible.

I imagine some of these people are soccer moms or bikers who dont have time for VPNs, Or the tech savvy skills.

Which makes this even more opressive. And if they get caught, its a crime. Thats disgusting.

That's when your ex calls your probation officer and says "Johns posting on facebook again, he's using this name!!!"

And away to jail you go.

No shit.

It's kind of fucked up that people have to flee the country to dictatorships like Russia to be able to be free..

its very simple to enforce. Police check on her, her accounts, her phone, any internet providers to her her house and if she is found to have used any of it, she is found guilty of violating a court order which is a separate crime, which by the way carries no maximum. Judges can do anything like this and there are no legal limits on their power.

Thank this lady for being there! Sorry the judge is a total jackass. If anyone's out in SoCal please give this a lady a hug and some business.
