Zinc is extremely easy to get through red meat, even a small amount. Magnesium is totally stripped from our food supply. 80% of Americans are deficient. Magnesium citrate is a great form of magnesium, more easily absorbed than other kinds. 40% of Americans are deficient in vitamin D, so this is a smart move too.

POC should take a higher dose as their bodies don't convert it as well (das raciss). But a lot of white people are deficient too, especially if they live in the North. Also, the studies on vitamin D use the lowest amount required to survive. If you factor in the amount needed to be healthy, the number is much higher. It's basically impossible to be sufficient in vitamin D unless you're a nudist
