My 4yo daughter is not eligible for Pre K because she speaks English. But, all of Biden’s newly imported kids can and I have to pay for it. Awesome.

It should be illegal to attend school in the USA unless the person can be proved to be a US citizen, or pre pay for the entire term of education.
It should also be illegal to employ anyone in the USA if they are not citizens, or have a work permit.

We make more than the “poverty line”, I am not a veteran, first responder, etc. We do not meet any of the requirements. The point is, even if a migrant family doesn’t meet any requirements, the only one they have to meet is the language requirement. Which is all of them.

I know this is frustrating, but your daughter will be ok. Just read to her as much as possible, lots of learning programs, she won’t fall behind. Kids learn the most off their parents anyway. That said I’m trying to get my kids into school and there are a bunch of rules, absurd schedules, and waiting lists, none of which do anything to stop the spread of a virus. Schools are making themselves obsolete.
Homeschool has become the best school. It was always a good choice, but the destruction of our education system into an indoctrination gulag means homeschool is the best choice. Especially as many private schools have equally debased themselves to woke ideology.

Yes, they are 4, children develop speech and the ability to say words around 9 months old, by 4 they should have developed over hundreds of vocabulary words and should be able to read sight words as well as form hand written letters, not well, but a foundational beginning should be there. By kindergarten they should be able to write sentences and learn grammar. By 4-5, they should also be able to do basic math, addition and subtraction.
Don't put your kids through public schools. You might as well send them through the barrio alone at night.
If she can write cursive, they will never let her in.
