Unfortunately I still look at Reddit from time to time. Yesterday in a thread on r/Google some trans folks were complaining that Google was discriminating and marginalising them because they didn't have a Google doodle celebrating Trans Rights Day.
I made a comment that trans people are the "new" vegans. ie Q: "how do you know if someone is vegan?" A: don't worry, they'll tell you.
For this poor attempt at satire I have been labelled as the biggest transphobe on Reddit.
Also, privileges aren't rights and there are no valid rights being denied to autogynephiliac fetishists.

I was a delegate at their national convention a few years ago. Saw that they were just as corrupt as any other political party, and have been Independent Trump voter ever since.

Well the woke stuff happened quickly. I saw Spike speak in San Diego back in August, and he wasn't going down that path. He was more anti-Trump, which is a moronic position for someone who cares about Liberty, but was otherwise solid on Libertarian points.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why Libertarians would hate Trump so much, especially after he had been in office for the first two years. Not that Trump was even trying to be libertarian, but he was so much better than anyone since Reagan, it just doesn't make sense. I was technically born at the end of the Reagan era, but was too young to remember anything before Clinton.

The Libertarians I know, and I was hanging out with one tonight, are somewhat split on Trump. Those who understood RussiaGate was a hoax, and truly hate the Statists, supported him to some extent. But Trump was not a small government guy, which is why I've always considered him a war-time transitory POTUS.
I mean, ending wars and reducing taxes and regulations should have been at the top of any Libertarian's list, but pigeonholing all Libertarians under one umbrella is like thinking all Republicans are like Romney.
I'll be happy when all national political parties are gone and we are represented by local interests.
I didn't vote for him in 2016, didn't make sense to bother in NYS. Held my nose and voted for Gary at the time because it seemed like a prime opportunity for a third party to get enough to get automatic ballot access. I just ended up being pleasantly surprised with what he did. I expected worse. That is why I don't understand the TDS. Take the wins when you can get them. No one else was going to go in the direction many libertarians want to go anyway.
