Of course, I wouldn't discriminate employment based on a political affiliation...but my last team member I let go just so happened to be a raging leftist. Had 0 independent thinking skills. The other applicant is really your buddy pretending to be going for the same job.
He makes small talk. You applying for this job? Me too! If candidate removes mask to make small talk then he's a conservative. If he even walks in without a mask then he's a conservative.
Sit quietly for a minute. Have your buddy say this:
"Hey. My brother just texted me something about Obama being a Muslim?" Can you help me out. Was Obama born outaide this country? Kenya? Was he a Muslim, do you think?
If candidate answers Hawaii and no. Then hes a liberal.
Can try interviewing in a way with non-political roundabout questions that are tells for conservatives.
Scale of 1-5 Are you willing to try eating monkey meat, under some circumstances. Would it bother you to see a human hand in a jar in science class ? Does it bother you to hear somebody clear their throat of mucus ? Would you avoid walking through graveyard? Bothered by seeing a cockroach in somebody else's house? Touch de. See vomit. America. Disgusting is it to see maggots on a piece of meat outside.
The more extreme the response to these types of questions the more likely they are to be Rs. Basically people who are moderately unphased are more liberal and people who were more prone to disgust are more conservative.
Do you consider yourself more of an american or more of a global citizen? Global citizen is buzz word for liberals. Conservatives typically consider themselves citizens of america.
The best idea is just to flat-out ask them who they voted for. And trust they won't sue you.
2nd best is to ask them "if it were up to you, would you say the lockdown should continue 6 months or until more people vaccinated, maybe another couple of months just to wind down a bit, or are you pretty much ready if things just opened up tomorrow all the restaurants, amusement parks and everything was open and full capacity?
Liberals are not ready for that. Im taking 97% of them.
Conservatives are only like 38% not ready to get back to way things were.
