There's a movie by John Waters called Pecker and the main characters grandmother has a statue of Mary that she believes talks to her, even though she's the one who makes it talk.
I'm content either to trust that it is God, or leave it in the "unknown / not my issue" bucket for now.
But to knee-jerk reject all supernatural activity (especially those proceeding explicitly out of the Christian camp) doesn't seem too smart.
Many of the objections come out of the "Sola Scriptura" camp; but many of the secondary teachings / doctrine of that crowd, aren't themselves found in Scripture, e.g. "dispensationalism" / "miracles don't happen anymore".
The Epistle of John says "Test the spirits" not "reject every spirit."
Did anyone make note of what the picture was saying / praying? If it was an admonition to heed the word of God, or to repent, or tidings of Mercy, then there's nothing worrying at all about that. If it's saying "allow female homosexual Muslims into the college of Cardinals" then yeah, I'd pass on that one. ;-)
Looks like everything in that video is shimmering and moving around because the compression is so bad. These things always turn out to be attention grabs anyhow, lips moving on a painting would be a pretty cruddy miracle.
Trump is returning in 2024 with jesus at his side and he will right all the injustices and hillary clinton will be in prison thats all according to lin wood anyway
they used to do that in the middle ages where they would put wires on the eyes and mouth of a jesus statue and someone behind the wall pulls the wires to make the statue look like it's talking. it's all about making money and getting people to come to your church so they can make as much money off you as possible.

Sod off, vermin. Mary points to Christ: He is her Son. As she said to the waiters in the wedding at Cana: "Do whatever He tells you."
you believe the painting was actually talking? or do you think there is something else at play here?
