Something to consider before going completely hopeless is this is going to be a congressional bill and it’s a spending/budgeting bill which will need 60 Senate votes. He needs to flip 10 republicans.

I'd say they have 2 for sure. The bill itself and what it sets out to do isn't bad, but dumping all the tax onto corporations is bad foresight moving into the post pandemic where we are surely going to hit a recession and eat some inflation. Should be interesting to see what the GOP offer as compromises.

It's a stealth version of green new deal.. a foot hold in the door for more to follow. It's just ridiculous, you're right about impending recession. If the pandemic didn't finish off small business. This definitely will. Especially the value of the dollar, with them just printing money. As for gop, I can't see them arguing to much on the bill.
