For my Christian Patriots - read Luke 22:35-38 today. Thursday of Holy Week is when Jesus told the disciples that if they didn't have a sword, to sell a garment and go buy one.
Jesus didn't tell his followers to go pick a fight, but he did encourage them to have something to protect themselves.

That was before the romans required background checks and instituted assault sword bans, nothing over 3", no double edge, no pointed tips and no two handed grips.
What do you need a sword for? You have Romans!
